Any property one buys in Singapore, it can’t be too bad. All that bs about “lease decay” of HDB that was du jour the past few years has dissipated almost overnight, eh? I’m amazed how people can worry about lease decay of a 20 year old HDB flat – hello!! There’s an 80 years lease left. What’s the potential utility value of the unit (ie rental) over the 80 year period? I think, to me, as far as property ownership in singapore is concerned, I always fall back to this old saying – “Every dog has it’s day”.
